The calculator features a wide range of appliances, and allows the user to enter how long for and how often they use each appliance. By default, the calculated cost is based on the UK average rate. Entry of a custom rate is also supported.
As appliances are entered, a table is displayed showing the cost of each appliance over different periods. The most expensive appliance is signposted as well. This information may help people to manage their energy consumption.
